Breeze
Festival 2009
with John Smeaton Community High School
Ascendance Rep undertook a three day residency
with a group of young people from years 7,8 and 9 to create a piece
based on heritage for the Breeze Festival, Leeds. This was performed
at The Carriageworks Theatre on Saturday 27th June 2009 and the
group did exceptionally well. We are now planning to set up a youth
dance group at the school and are looking forward to building a
partnership there.
