Here
are some comments from the audience.
Ascendance
completed a successful residency at Skipton Castle in summer 2010
with
12 dancers ranging from 5 - 70years, as part of a research project
funded by Arts Council England. A big thank to all the cast and
to Skipton and Knaresborough Castle for hosting the performance
events.

the performance and the setting – the dancers were fantastic,”

new production will be performed by a ‘Company of All Ages'

THE
CATHEDRAL TOUR 2008
STANDING STONES
Choreographed by Jacky Lansley
STANDING
STONES showcases classical contemporary dance at its best.
Be enchanted by a towering mythical character dressed in elaborate
medieval costume, giggle at the faces of gargoyles,
and be bowled over by the sheer technical prowess of
the performers.
This exquisite and
colourful new dance piece, performed by an international
cast of four dancers, is set to the sensual Mozart
Clarinet Quintet played by members of the Cornish Sinfonia.
