Ascendance is a dance for health charity—helping people come together and feel better.
We offer weekly dance classes for older adults and people with Parkinson’s across Leeds, Bradford, and online—strengthening physical and mental wellbeing through joyful, motivating movement.
Our community company, Fuse Dance Collective, brings together people with Parkinson’s and mature dancers to train, perform, and grow. Supported by Arts Council England, our Training Ground programme develops choreographic and leadership skills in an inclusive, supportive environment.
“The class takes my mind off my Parkinson’s and lets me just dance.”
